Preston Montgomery Jr.
(April 12, 1927 - March 24, 2000)
was a man of few words, but when he spoke his words were powerful. He had the ability to change a person’s perspective with his clear concise mindset. Preston always communicated with purpose, so when he began to speak you knew you better pay attention. At an early age my grandfather told me I was different, and it was okay to be different embrace it. His words have carried me through the trials of trying to fit in when I was born to stand out. Preston gave words a life meaning. So, as we give life to your words we honor him with the Preston Montgomery Jr Authorship. Each year we will choose a first-time author to award a publishing package. Anyone who has never been published can apply.
